Your wire cutter must be able to cut through your chains and other components. You need a memory wire cutter to cut your memory wire. I you try to cut memory wire with your regular wire cutters you can damage them. A good pair of chain nose pliers and round nose pliers will help you more than anything. I use them every time I make a piece.
